Hubbub Theatre Company is looking for 2 enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with experience working within the arts to oversee the next stage of their organisational development. Two of the original board members who have supported the company’s growth over the last 6 years have left due to greater demand from their own artistic commitments. Hubbub is now recruiting a minimum of 2 individuals to join their board with particular experience around finance, arts organisational development, disability, and/or fundraising to help them deliver against their ambitious plans. Hubbub exists to provide
positive, dynamic and developmental theatre based opportunities for people with learning disabilities within Derbyshire and the surrounding counties. Over the next three years, key strands of their work focus on community engagement, high quality vocational actor training and touring theatre productions which will raise profile and deliver their unique offer regionally and beyond. The new board members will have an excellent understanding of the arts sector and some experience in finance and/or fundraising and ideally some knowledge of the education, SEN or charity sectors.
